Kelcema Audio provided all of the audio production for the 2016 Amica Seattle Marathon, marking our 4th year working with the Seattle Marathon Association. With our team of experienced technicians and quality equipment, we again exceeded our clients expectations and delivered clear sound for both their start and finish lines!
For the Starting Line at the 2016 Amica Seattle Marathon, we again deployed JBL VRX speakers, including 4- 932LAPs tops and 2- 918SP subwoofers. We also utilized 6 STX812M utility speakers to extend full coverage from the start line along 5th Avenue in Seattle. We used our Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console, and provided Shure QLX-D digital wireless microphones for their announcers to use. Finally, we used our Checkers GuardDog cable ramps to cover our power feed coming from the client-provided generators.
At the Finish Line, we used 6 JBL STX812M utility speakers for the bulk of the audio coverage, and a pair of VRX932LAP speakers for covering the actual finish line. A Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console provided control, and another pair of Shure QLX-D digital wireless microphones were used by the MC. Finally, we used one of our Motion Labs 30A stage stringers to access power from a house L21-30 power feed.
